The Ending We Needed 🥹 | Our Dining Table (僕らの食卓) – Episode 10 | REACTION
Without Hello hello and welcome back to the channel as most of you know I’m Topher and for those of you who don’t know and just randomly decided to click on my video Welcome to the channel I’m toer thank you for stopping by so we’re here to do a reaction and we’re diving back
Into our dining table we’re diving into the final episode episode 10 and I know you guys are like man this was such a long journey you went on we waited so long for you to get through this this series and finally make it to the end man you just took your sweet time
Getting through it m but I can’t help it I had other plans for the day and the series just kind of knocked those plans all all all kinds of around so we’re going to finish out the series and maybe I’ll dive into some of the other things I had planned
To react to today maybe not we’ll just have to wait and see but we’re going to dive to the last episode and see where it takes us they were kind of leaving us on this uneasy feeling where hitaka wasn’t sure how he was not sure not wasn’t sure
How he was feeling but kind of fearful of the potential that he and minu could split which you know is life in any relationship any relationship could potentially end at any given time for any given reason that’s just life um but I think this is the first time he’s
Really felt something so serious so he he’s a little nervous understandable so we’re going to dive in and see just just how they close this chapter out all right y’all well we made it we made it to the end of another journey I did not intend on ending this journey quite so soon
But such is life so I guess I’ll be diving into venzo sooner than I expected um but yeah this was overall it was very very very sweet um and just a nice breath of fresh hair I feel like the Japanese series I watch there’s there’s so many different like
Approaches or different genres like there was the whole dark salacious nature of the pornographer or the novelist um there’s Cherry magic which is a little bit light-hearted there’s end of the world with you which was an emotional roller coaster and like it doesn’t matter what style of series
Or what style of BL gay drama whatever um we watch from the Japanese creators they’re they they’re just always so well done they’re always so well done um and this is no exception I think the the acting was fantastic the soundtrack as always was fantastic and I
Think that it did a great job of balancing this sort of light-hearted nature with these sort of everyday issues that people occur they’re realistic um whether it’s feel being part of a new family an adopted child and not feeling the sense of belonging um or losing a loved one at a young age
Or losing a loved one at all and having to cope with that and move on with life um because for well I was going to say for a lot of us for everyone honestly that’s the reality of Life eventually we all have to say goodbye to someone or
Everyone that we love sometimes we have we’re blessed with having the advanced knowledge and other times it just happens suddenly but that that’s life that is life and those of us who are left behind have to learn how to move on with our day-to-day whether we are ever
Able to get over that loss or just learn to cope with it day in day out um it’s very realistic problems that we’re encountering um so like always the we had parents in this or we had a parent in this who was just kind of the voice of reason and had
All of the right words to say and knew exactly how to relate to uh yataka in that instant I feel like it was a very beautiful conversation that he did have with him and he was very honest like I’ve don’t think I’ve ever gotten over
The loss of my wife and you know I don’t know that that’s something you just get over but you know the pain of what I have there are times where I thought about you know it would have just been easier if we had never met and life life would have just
Been better that way but the pain I’m feeling now is just a testament to how much I did love her and how much she gave me the ability to love somebody um so if someday you have to say goodbye to my son or us or whatnot or vice vers
Then you know whatever pain we feel is just a testament to how much we truly did care about them and just a testment to the good times we did have and we can remember the good times we can hold on to those beautiful moments that we had
And you know cherish them and yeah I think that’s probably the best way that that fear that he was having could have been addressed and yeah I just open and honest conversations there towards the end when after T had gone to sleep they were having just their conversations and just
Talking talking honestly openly and I love love love love love um and I love seeing just the complete Turn Around from when the series started um we can see how mending those relationships with his family and feeling this sense of belonging with his new family that he’s grown into
Um really just helped change him um he’s more social at work he’s not afraid to go out and eat meals with his co-workers and interact with them in the office outside of the office um and he just seems brighter lighter and happier he is um excited or you know willing to go
Through these family functions mom’s got her birthday comeing this and I will be there like it’s a complete 180 from where the series started and it it feels almost like a movie kind of ending where it’s like okay all the problems have been solved but we went through the process of solving these
Problems it wasn’t just this big overnight thing it was it was a beautiful little journey um again I love these Series where food can be the Catalyst for love and can be the Catalyst for just building these relationships and food very much was what helped bring these people together and yeah it
