‘Pathetic!’ Royal expert reacts to Prince Harry & Meghan Markle hints to King | Palace Confidential
Any hopes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might have of joining the rest of the Royal Family at Sandringham for Christmas are ‘pathetic’, according to one royal expert.
Friends of Harry and Meghan told a Sunday newspaper last week that they ‘would not decline’ a festive invitation from the King, but the Daily Mail’s Diary Editor Richard Eden says that these sort of indirect hints are ‘no way to operate’.
‘This is pathetic isn’t it? This reminds me of the school disco, where if you weren’t brave enough to ask a girl to dance, you’d say “my mate fancies you”,’ he tells the new episode of royal chat show Palace Confidential.

I love this program and one delight get with every episode is seeing what Jo will wear. Always a treat. And Rebecca always wears a lovely dress . Thank you for the Happy Thanksgiving wishes too. Sophie is so lovely and I wish she got more coverage. Meghan is like a person in a room with 200 people who, when the light goes on, thinks it only shines on her. No Matter how much she smiles, she just can’t hide her true nature.
That was not just any random woman who tried to push Meghan off the red black carpet.That was Meghan's assistant. The organizers asked her to hurry Meghan up. Meghan probably retaliated after the event. She took Marcus Anderson with them to Canada, not that terrified woman.

I don’t feel sorry for Harry and Megan‘s viewpoints. I feel sorry for their kids, but them? NO!!! Those two adults have made it very clear what they wanted, and what they did not want, and now they want to be jealous or mad because their children do not have the attention of their royal grandparents! Time to grow up! Time for you to admit to your mistakes, say I’m sorry and start rebuilding that relationship, Harry!!! I love Sophie! I think she is very beautiful and elegant and so down to earth but yet she’s a royal she looks to be untouchable, but so elegant!

I love D.M.R., and I look forward to it every week… but PLEASE stop including reports about Harry and that woman. Try as you might, they aren't royal, and they aren't interesting either. The stories about them bring down the entire program and give it a tawdry flavor. Move on, and DO BETTER!

In the 70s my family lived in Asia and traveled to most of the countries over a couple years. South Korea was my favorite .

I was listening to the episode while doing the washing up from thanksgiving dinner. I stopped everything to watch the photo montage of lovely Sophie! What a great lady she is—accomplished, hardworking and always well turned out, willing to lend a hand where needed. She is a true asset to the Royal family.

Beautiful Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh montage. Sophie and Edward have always been a strong hardworking team. He is a bit of a cutie. I see William in Edward quite a bit. I love how theyve raised Louise and James so far. The banquet looked stunning. Hopefully the Sussex family will not go to Xmas. If they want time eith King Charles III they can quietly fly over after family isnt around and have a few days with Charles and Camilla but only if they bring Archie and Lilly. Maybe the kids can meet The Wales kids, the Phillips girls, the Tindal kids. But heavily supervised by Anne snd Sophie and Catherine and Zara without Meghan near any of the kids
