Man I've been saying, Sukuna is nice with 10 shadows but he is not the one, Megumi is.
We also never go to see Funeral Tiger/Tiger Funeral of the Ten Shadows.
Megumi will be top 4 all time💯💯💯💯
It matters on what will happen with the 10 shadows after all of the shikigami’s are killed, either there’s a far more powerful godly Shikigami (that Megumi or Sukuna will need to defeat)
Or Megumi would be a op version of Maki, and Toji having the strength, and physical abilities of all of the Shikigami’s combined, while also being able to use their abilities. (I favor this one, Megumi sucks at using the 10 shadows, he’s far better at fighting like his father, also the irony, and justice it would give Toji, with him, and Maki being signs of the true potential of the CT the clan love so much.)

It's crazy how people are comparing thousand years old Sukuna to a 15 years old kid.
My theory is that he'll be back. But that's just me coping hard.
Regardless of being in Sukuna. He's surrounded in the inner world,that's pitch black. Unlike Yuji's, who had that eery skull space and more control due to being the perfect vessel.
With Sukuna in his original body,Megumi could potentially have control of himself on the inside again. Now that his body has no restriction of being a vessel. (Completely gone and just a soul now)
What if he fights internally? This is the perfect chance for Gege to adapt his "Complete Domain Expansion" and could sabotage Sukuna's body, through shadow strings. Take control of his body with shadow strings. Ex;; stopping Sukuna's arm from throwing a punch,lose his footing,etc.
Could pull his heart out forcefully as a parallel to Sukuna pulling Yuji's out. He's always been the sacrificial type and from a perspective has the least burden in the current situation as he's out of the picture unable to aid in reality. Something he's always bickering about.
Even if Megumi reaches adulthood and trains his whole life I don’t see him Being on Sukuna’s level. The skill Sukuna demonstrated, his knowladge and everything already trumps past users of 10S who couldn’t even tame Mahoraga. Also Megumi’s CE is good but nowhere near Yuta and Gojo let alone Sukuna who has the most in the series

My theory, cope, is still that Sukuna had to leave Megumis body behind physically in order to use that one time use Reincarnation without needing RCT. Which leaves me to believe that in the end we have a small chanse or getting Soul Split Nobara, Liberated Yuji and Awakened Megumi with that Absolute Totality and an Open Domain, all 3 of them fighting Heian Sukuna. It would be an amazing fight, it would make sense as the tree of them at their strongest actually might be able to beat Sukuna, and although probably most if not all will die in that fight, they will die victorious. I am coping hard I know, but let me cope, it's all I have left xd.
I think he may steal sukuna ce pool or a certain bit of it making him able to use all of 10 ts easily
Tbh idk megumi hasn’t had that much of a particularly impressive feat.
He arguably would be a lot stronger had he become a Zenin. Gojo only gave him a hint of how to think like the strongest, helping him to make an incomplete domain. But with the Zenin clan being survival of the fittest, he eventualy would've adpated a similar mindset. Though in turn he could have access to a manual of the 10s. Or guides of previous owners that the Zenin clan kept hidden.
So had he become a Zenin he'd probably know the ins and outs of his 10s but he might've not form a domain. But I feel like growing up in an enviroment such the Zenin clan he'd probably less timid and more power hungry.

I like to think of the 10S as 10CTs simply because Sukuna has proven you dont need to summon the Shiki to use their abilities so long as its tamed like the elephant jet he used against Gojo.
Aside from that yeah he would need to train his body, learn to use different tools, and develop is CE with experience and age. He already has DE as well so thats already leagues above many of the other sorcerers. Who knows he might have achieved Black Flash if again he trains his body.
This video reminded a old topic in jujutsushi reddit, the guy was comparing buddhism stories and characters to jjk, and mentioned Megumi as kongara, a buddha disciple that attend not only buddha's teachings , but also other deities. We see that on the first time he used his DE, he recall not only gojo's telling what he is missing, sukuna as well. I think those sukuna's memories will only teach him part of the way, and he will fully surpass Sukuna, as a 10S user(not as a sorcerer).

If gojo killed Mahoraga the ritual wouldve been null and void like when sukuna killed it
It's a Shonen trope to eventually see the characters peak and reach their potential, Maki is an example of that.
That being said, it seems like gege might not care as much and may have used sukuna to show off some of the 10 shadow tech, and not even peak 10 shadow tech but more than what we've seen from megumi.
I hope I'm wrong because I've always wanted to see a maxed out megumi taking the 10 shadow tech to the limit
Mahoraga has to be single-handedly exorcised by the person who summoned it. That's why Megumi never summoned it and had Gojo kill it.
Megumi was chosen by Sukuna to execute himself(Sukuna) or legend of ten shadows as replacement of legend of ryomen Sukuna.
also megumi could use the piercing ox to destroy domain barriers since barriers are weak on the outside by default (if theres no condition swap)
megumi would be soaked in sukunas cursed energy, same as yuji. so he would have a solution to his CE problem.

I thought i got over the fact sukuna is in posesion of his body, but its just that i didnt reread the chapters where he was involved. Like for example after Shibuya when he gave new meaning to Itadori to "save him" (his sister that is), Im just even more heartbroken then before. I have low hopes of him coming back, but if by some miracle he does, and he isnt braindead and he has functioning 10 shadows i would be estatic, jumping around in joy. But well, i can only dream of it.
Oh yes, Megumi does have a potential. Potential to live the rest of his live in the wheel chair as vegetable, and that is a big maybe, because i am not sure he will live this one.
With Tsumiki being killed through his body and CT. Gojo suffering the same fate, what role does his character have besides getting his closure with probably Yuji?
Gege even changed the point that he made in fanbook/interview, that Gojo will be the one to tell Megumi about Toji.
Well, clearly, that's not the case anymore. And of all people, somehow, Gege thought that mentioning Shoko, of all people, who is barely a character, never saw Toji and barely interacted with his son, telling Megumi about Toji is good idea for that closure – is beyond me.
Gege clearly made adjustments to the story, and i think we should prepare for Megumi's pack, but we will probably still have closure with him. Half of his Shikigami are dead and may become part of a totality with Mahoraga, that he still would not ever conquer in the first place, especially now, when his body is transformed into OG Sukuna, with frogs, rabbits, dog, bull and elefant being what's left of his CT.
To be honest, he should have listened to Yuji and stayed away from him, and he should have tripple checked before assuming Tsumiki was awakened player, and now, he and EVERYBODY else will pay the price for this blunder of his stupidity and shortsightedness. A fitting end for him.
Pray, Megumi fans, that he does not get offcreened. He is not cathing up to Yuta or Yuji, especially after they had timeskip and with that fact that those to in particular have just a year or few months of experience in sorcery and were already faster progressing and were stronger than a guy with decade of experience with CT and CE under Gojo, insane genetics from Toji, prized CT from Zenin clan and even training in cqc from Maki.
Even if he gets saved and get's Yuji's body, get's Panda's treatment and becomes one of three souls inside a Cursed Corpse, or even gets control of his body, he will stay a vegetable after those 5 UV and all the trauma he experienced. It's owari da for his mental state.
He IS wasted potential. And, just like with Mechamaru, we will never see him bloom into his prime.
